West Palm Beach, FL   17 Feb 2001

Lots of good pictures on this dive despite bad VIS, cold waters and a packed dive boat.

VIS was only 30 feet, and the water was the coldest I've ever seen in WPB... a chilling 65 at 40+ feet.

The first boat we were on was crowded but all went okay.
We were going to make another dive that night on a different boat,
but it was way too packed for us so we didn't get to do the night dive...

Sorry, but I don't like 'cattle' boats.

Even though the waves were none existent (maybe 1-2 feet), the night and crowd
leads to lost and broken gear, and a real nightmare accounting  for all the divers.

Maybe next trip to the Gold Coast we can do a night dive.

Next trip planned is April 21-22 to Boynton Beach, FL, just south of West Palm Beach.
Diving with the Orlando Reef Divers Club.
