Accommodation:

The M/V Spree is a 100ft aluminum crew boat refit for open-ocean diving.

The Spree is powered by three 12V71 Detroit Diesel engines and runs at a top speed of approximately 16 knots. She has two 30kw generators to keep the lights on and the air compressors pumping.

The boat has tank racks for each diver, a large camera table and camera rinse barrels, gear rinse tanks, 2 boarding ladders with a large swim platform, and a large sundeck.

What your Shark Adventure will consist of:

This unique shark trip is run exclusively for shark enthusiasts and photographers. Our focus is offering quality in-water time and photo opportunities with these magnificent creatures, led by Marine Biologist Denise Byrne.

The warm crystal clear water surrounding the Bahamas boasts some of the best shark encounters in the world. Tiger Beach is world renowned as the pinnacle of Shark Diving, these 15+ foot resident sharks have earned their reputation as some of the most awe-inspiring sharks.

These heart-pounding experiences are often rivaled when divers see the rarely observed Great Hammerhead Sharks, which can grow to 18 feet in length! 

Along with Lemon sharks, Nurse Sharks and Caribbean Reef Sharks this fun, shark filled week will be an experience you will never forget!

Itinerary:

Saturday,  Day 1: Arrive at Fort Lauderdale, Florida
We will board the M/V Spree in Fort Lauderdale, boarding is at 8pmfor a safety briefing. Spree will depart Fort Lauderdale after the safety briefing and travel across to West End, Grand Bahamas overnight to clear customs & immigration in the morning.

Sunday – Tuesday Days 2-4:
We will arrive to Tiger Beach (world renowned as the pinnacle of Shark Diving), about noon on day 2. We will start chumming sharks on arrival. Expect a couple of dives in the afternoon of Day 2, and 4-5 dives per day after that.  

Wednesday- Friday Days 5-7:
We will travel to Bimini Tuesday night and arrive Wednesday morning. We will start chumming for Hammerheads directly on arrival, divers can expect 4-5 dives per day. On our last evening we will dock at the Bimini Big Game Club for a taste of the local culture in Bimini. We will depart for Fort Lauderdale about dark.

Saturday, Day 8: Arrival at Fort Lauderdale
We will pull into Fort Lauderdale to clear customs, passengers disembark by 9am.  

Price: $3,495, which includes travel to & from the Bahamas, diving, beer, wine, meals, nitrox, port fees & taxes and park fees.   

What is not included in your trip is transfers to and from the vessel, trip insurance, which is highly recommended, dive accident insurance, gratuities for the crew, and souvenirs, T-shirts, etc.

Deposit due at time of booking $1000 to hold your spot. Fifty percent of expedition price due six months prior to trip dates, final payment due 90 days prior to trip.

We HIGHLY recommend purchasing trip insurance within seven (7) days of making deposit.
