Crystal River Springs, Crystal River, Florida: We offer snorkeling and scuba diving trips at Crystal River. High season for manatees is late November through February. We recommend snorkeling to get the closest to them. All tours, manatee, snorkeling, scuba are 3 to 3.5 hours long and cost $ 35.00pp? In the case of SCUBA tours that $ 35.00 includes tank & weight. Orange City, Florida: 22 December 2006 - No more swimming, snorkeling or diving at the park while the manatees are in the headspring. New policy being
strictly enforced that basically states if there is a manatee in the water, you can't be.
This rule really only applies to the cold months, December thru
February.
