Georgia Aquarium Diving Trip

All rooms facing either the Georgia Aquarium or Centennial Park. The hotel features two restaurants with outstanding views of Centennial Park. Indoor and outdoor pools are available featuring an outdoor whirlpool and cabana space. All guest rooms include refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in an in-room hospitality center. High speed internet is complimentary.
Similar to other communities with signature identities, the Centennial Park District is a remarkable collection of hotels, attractions, and restaurants. Recently declared Atlanta’s preferred destination, the neighborhood offers many notable entertainment and sports venues and restaurants. The closest hotel the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coca Cola Museum.

Saturday – 8am – 9pm
Sunday – 9am – 9am

Dive Times: 27 Feb 2021

Morning Dive – 11:00am (8 divers maximum)
Afternoon Dive – 3:00pm (8 divers maximum)
All dive participants should report to the Animal Interactions Desk, located next to the Ocean Voyager attraction at least 30 minutes prior to your schedule dive time. Towels, showers and lockers are provided for your convenience.

Our Weekend:

Day #1 Friday
8:00 AM Depart Dayo Scuba in our luxury Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans
3:00 PM Arrive at the Hilton Garden Inn – Atl. Downtown – check-in & free time
6:00 PM Meet up for dinner or free time

Day #2 Saturday
10:30 AM Morning divers will check-in at the Animal Interactions Desk
2:30 PM Afternoon divers will check-in at the Animal Interactions Desk
6:00 PM Meet up for dinner or free time

Day #3 Sunday
11:00 AM Check-out of hotel - Free time***
3:00 PM Load up our luggage and depart for Orlando

***enjoy any of the nearby attractions or have Sunday brunch at any of the many great restaurants nearby. Zoo Atlanta is open today from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM and is a short drive away from the hotel.

Cafe Aquaria – hot lunches, including burgers, southern buffets and stone hearth pizza.

Plan your day at the aquarium ahead of time by downloading the GA Aquarium mobile app on the itunes App Store or the Google Play Store. Browse the daily schedule to view times for the dolphin presentation and the Under the Boardwalk sea lion presentation, gallery features and more. The recommended time is around 3-4 hours to view the entire Aquarium.
Please note: The dolphin presentation and Under the Boardwalk sea lion presentation are seated on a first come, first served basis. It is recommended to get in line at least 30 minutes before showtime, especially on weekends.

The Sponsored Education Admissions (SEA Program) has provided Aquarium admissions to individuals and groups in the education system in need of financial assistance. To date, more the 72,000 students from Title I schools and non-profits in Georgia were sponsored to visit Georgia Aquarium free of charge.
