Elite Diver Program
Open Water, Nitrox and Advanced Diver courses combined to make our best new divers.
This is our favorite way of making new divers. By having the opportunity to dive with our new diver students at least 12 dives over (at least) 5 days, we produce a much better diver.
The open water course is an entry-level certification course designed to give you the necessary skills to safely conduct open water dives anywhere in the world (to a depth of 60 feet/18 meters) with a buddy. After the Open Water class, you learn about Nitrox and the benefits of breathing enriched (with Oxygen) air, especially on the deeper (100 feet/30 meters) dives, like you will do on the Advanced Diver portion of this program. After the initial class, and before the Advanced Deep dive, you will attend bouyancy and trim dives that will fine tune your dive skills. Before finishing the Elite Diver course, you must master bouyancy and trim skills!
Details of each major section of the Elite Diver program can be found here:

Our 'extra' training puts special emphasis on the techniques (streamlining, correct weight distribution and hovering), equipment, emergency procedures and other considerations associated with being the best diver possible. On every dive, you should strive to be "perfectly" buoyant…as perfect buoyancy means you conserve air, energy and minimizes damage to our precious environment.
*** We require our Elite Divers to own their own basic gear (mask, fins, booties and snorkel), plus safety tube and compass. Also, after the basic portion (Open Water) class, to pay for rental, nitrox fills (when needed) and dive site fees (which usually include at least a boat dive in West Palm Beach). Though NOT required for the Elite Diver course, we do encourage ALL divers to own pretty much all their own gear to promote diving more often in familiar gear.
